Cifarelli winery

San Vito is the area where the vineyards of the Cifarelli cellars , where the mild wind carries with it the delicate scents of the typical plants of the Mediterranean scrub, gently cradling the shoots, giving the grapes unique nutrients that give them beauty in appearance, color and flavor in taste.

The winery, located on a plateau in the municipality of Montescaglio in Basilicata, was founded in 2011 when Vito Cifarelli, agronomist, decided to invest in this land by transforming his own grapes into excellent wines.

With thirty hectares of vineyard and an annual production of just 450 hectoliters of wine, obtained exclusively from the vinification of selected grapes, Vito's sole objective is to guarantee rational and scrupulous work in the choice of wanting to enhance only the qualitative principle of its products .

A complex need, this, but a value that is revealed in a prestigious variety of chromatic glasses, united by a common denominator called passion.

From purplish red to delicate cherry pink, from straw yellow to the golden shades of passito, this range of sensations tells of the gaze of those who follow them and the hands of those who take care of them, from the rays of the sun to the hands of man.

Five labels obtained from different vines, Aglianico, Primitivo and Greco cultivated and followed on the San Vito farm, are the best interpreters of a modern work, for technologies and respect for the environment, intense, for the strong link to family traditions which give it an indelible and persistent character and personality over time.
