PrimoSole - Let's EatSud

The Primo Sole producer organization was born in 2016 in the Metapontino area, the agricultural heart of Basilicata, from the foresight of our Administrator Giuseppe Appio and the twenty-year experience of two agricultural cooperatives in the area: Primo Sole and Terre del Sole.

To date we have more than 30 producer members present in Basilicata, Puglia, Calabria and Abruzzo, with a cultivated area of ​​500 hectares.

Our presence in particularly suitable and diversified territories, the strong specialization, the rich cultural tradition combined with varietal innovation and cultivation techniques are our strengths.

Hard work, dedicated to the cultivation of high quality products, has allowed us over the years to reach the fruit and vegetable counters of the major national and foreign large-scale retail chains, bringing the true flavor of Italian fruit and vegetables to tables across Europe.

In a typically male sector, we include in our management two true fruit and vegetable #women, Francesca and Rosangela Appio, CFO and Sales Manager of the organization respectively. Together they also deal with the development of new product concepts and new brands for the valorization of company productions.
