DP Salvatore Since 1200 BC, Enotri and Lucani were historically known for their vigorous wine production, spread across the hills of the southern part of the Italian peninsula. One of the most important and widespread native vines in the Metaponto area, the heart of Magna Graecia, is Greco di Basilicata. Citrus scents, cedar in particular, combine with a delicate floral bouquet, accompanied by bright balsamic notes. Mint, eucalyptus and sage give the wine a complex and elegant olfactory structure. On the palate it is fresh, delicate, medium-bodied, characterized by an unusual aroma that makes its minerality harmonious. The finish recalls pleasant vegetal notes combined with a long persistence.
