Ancient Bakery
It all began during the early 1900s, when the Antonino family came into possession of an ancient oven located in the historic center of Bitonto.
The times, then, required only two things: bread and focaccia; products loved and made by our great-great-grandfathers. Thus, from generation to generation, art is shared. First Savino Antonino, then Antonio Antonino, with the help of his young wife Anna Santa Cozzella, started the bakery business, over time creating a strong point of reference in the historic centre: "U' furn dreit a r' Virg'n". As time passed and the future of their children, Concetta, Michele and Anna Antonino took on a role in the processing and sale of bread and focaccia, even door to door. At the end of the 90s, willing to create a new product to add to the proposed range, Anna Antonino started processing tarallo, followed by Concetta.
