The majatica cultivar is a typical variety of the Matera hills in Basilicata where the olive tree grows majestically and where a high quality oil is obtained.
An oil that expresses the bitter, particularly delicate and slightly fruity flavour, symbol of the Lucanian hills raised by the sun.
La Majatica oil has a beautiful, intense golden yellow color with light green nuances and is clear.
On the nose it opens elegant and complex, characterized by vegetal notes of lettuce and artichoke, to which are added hints of unripe tomato and almond.
The taste is fine and enveloping, with tones of aromatic herbs, with hints of basil, mint and rosemary, and spicy nuances of cinnamon and black pepper.
Bitter and spicy present and harmonious.
